The Vault of the Three Fingered Flame

By Scott Jarvis

One page dungeon contest 2022

No system or level given.

Premise: A recently emerged vault has already taken the lives of a bunch of would be tomb robbers, will you fare better?

What do we get here?

A single page gives us five keyed locations.

 Usability/formatting

We start off badly with the writing for this one which has a double negative in the first room. Otherwise it is fairly easy to discern what is going on from the text.

There are a lot of combat encounters and not much else here, all the halls have a random combat encounter as does making noise, this one could turn out to be a grind. Some more interactivity or traps is what is missing.

Depending what system you play this in it could be a pretty punishing adventure as the big bad is a save or take 1d6 permanent loss to one of your mental stats!

Portability

Obviously this is a sci-fi type adventure although I think it would be pretty easy to reskin for a slightly more fantasy setting.

Recommendation

Doesn't look fun and seems way too harsh.

PWYW for the whole collection on gumroad or stump up cash on drivethru.
